Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I first picked up a camera seriously shortly after college, and I fell in love with documenting moments and life's story as I practiced photographing my own family and friends. But it wasn't until I started having kids that I took it on as a career. So, we're talking 14+ years now as a profession. And, now I feel old. Haha!
Q: how do i choose a location?
A: With my many years of experience working in and around the Colorado Springs areas, I am familiar with a wide variety of locations. I like to first start with understanding who YOU are and what you enjoy. That often reveals the type of location you might like and can help narrow down our options. From there, I can show you example photos and then we can decide together what might suit you best.
Q: what the heck do i wear?
A: Great question! It stumps a lot of people so you are not alone when you ask this. The general and quick rule is: no busy patterns, no neon colors, no logos. From there, I recommend looking at color pallets that photograph well and that compliment both your skin tones and the location(s) you decided on. I have clients text me all the time with ideas they've landed on to get my final opinion. I've got ya covered!
Q: Do you offer any prints or wall art?
A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are the full base collection due at the time of booking with the option to upgrade at any time. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can take 50% at the time of booking and then the balance due on or before the session date. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: How do I book you for my senior session?
A: Great question! To book me for your special senior session, simply let me know which date(s) work for you and we'll cross-check with my calendar. Then, after a signed portrait contract and paid retainer fee, you're all set with a secured date!
